Maybe It's Time You Learned a Little More About Economics - Reference Book Review

It is interesting that so many people today are suddenly looking to learn more about economics. It's as if they forgot everything they learned in college, and they were not paying attention in high school when the subject was introduced. Even folks who claim to understand the economy, stock market, business cycles, money, interest, trade, production, raw materials, labor, Wall Street, and corporate America often need to go back and review some of their economic knowledge.

If you are one that is totally baffled by this current recession and the global economic meltdown that brought us to where we are now, as it threatens our recovery then perhaps you too need to do a review of your working knowledge of economics. If this is the case then I'd like to recommend a very good book to you, and one that I have on my own bookshelf, and often page through, just to check myself and make sure I know what I'm talking about when it comes to the economy. The name of the book is;

The very best part of this book is that you do not have to know a thing about economics to utilize it, and it's very easy to read with a nice format. Anyone can become knowledgeable about economic matters by studying this text at their own pace. And even if you are well-versed in the topic, it will help you better explain things to those who are not.

If you happen to be a student in college and you are struggling with this subject, this is by far the best book to own to assist you in grasping the concept of micro and macro economics and the inter-related issues that move markets, trade, labor, and make the free-market system work. Please consider all this.

Every Great Author Or Writer Needs a Good Book of Quotations

If you are a writer, I seriously cannot think of a better or smart reference book to own, besides maybe a dictionary, than a comprehensive book of quotes. Indeed, as a writer, I have my favorite one right here. The name of this reference device is:

"The Harper Book of Quotations - Third Edition" by Robert I. Fitzhenry, editor, Quill Publishing a Division of HarperCollins Publishers, New York, NY, 1993, (528 pp), ISBN: 0-06-271566-6.

This quotation reference book is a trusty friend to me, and it helps me get out of a jam often enough, when I am looking for that perfect quote while writing an eBook or another one of my online articles. Not sure how I'd get along without it, and really I am still wondering how you are?

The Table of content is excellent and set up by category and subject. The index is also very easy to use, and you can look up quotes by author as well. Perhaps one of the most important books a writer could have as a reference.

Every author needs tools of the trade such as a Thesaurus, Dictionary, Almanac, Grammar Book, and yes, a great book on quotes. I have five of them but this is by far the best quotational book I've ever seen, owned, or used. I simply wouldn't have a writer's lair without it, nor should you.

Also it is the prefect size for all your writing needs and very easy to flip through, navigate, and find what you are looking for literally in seconds. Indeed, I hope you will pick up a copy and use it to write great stuff. I understand there are two later versions available, but I sure like this one. Please consider all this.
